Cerakote Ceramic Coatings

Cerakote Ceramic Coatings improves performance and reliability over conventional finishes. This state-of-the-art coating technology out-performs any competitive coating in both laboratory settings and real world applications.

Powder Coating

Powder coating is achieved by the electrostatic application of a dry, fine particulate powder that is then cured to form a strong continuous film.  Powder coating is typically used when increased corrosion or wear resistance is required, but may also be used for a wide range of applications.

Wet Paint

Wet painting is the conventional method of applying a liquid paint to a surface, most commonly achieved through spraying.  Coatings applied with wet paint tend to be thinner than for powder coating, but they are capable of producing ultra-high quality finishes.

Chemical Processing

Chemical processing provides the ability to improve the corrosion resistance of a metal by allowing the controlled formation of an inert surface film that inhibits further oxidation or chemical attack.  Such finishes may provide a high level of aesthetic quality and be left uncoated.

Pima County One-Stop

Article from the Workforce Investment Board - 2011 Annual Report.

Perfection Industrial Finishing provides metal finishing services throughout the Southwest. The company at Park Avenue and Ajo Way is locally owned and operated. Its customers include military/aerospace companies.

A quality system that encompassed all of Perfection Industrial Finishing's processes and procedures was necessary to attract new high- technology customers locally and nationally.

AS9100/ISO9001 represents an international quality standard recognized by both commercial and military/aerospace customers.

Company President Charles Zinke faced a challenge: How could the company improve its competitive edge by attracting new customers that required a demonstrable Quality Management System before issuing contracts for metal finishing services such as Powder Coating, Conventional Painting, Mil Spec Painting, Chem-Film, and Anodizing?

Through Pima County's WIRED Grant program and with the help of Pima County One-Stop's Evelyn Wright, Perfection Industrial Finishing was able to gain certification in AS9100/ISO9001 on Nov. 9, 2010.

Perfection Industrial Finishing's leadership worked with Pima County and Pima Community College to run in-house training on the newly implemented Quality Management System for 30 employees.

This activity was essential for the successful quality certification! Perfection Industrial Finishing has secured ~ several new high- technology customers as a direct result of AS9100/ ISO9001 certification, and the company is on-track to double its sales revenue relative to the previous year.
